Julie Woodson - Wofford College

With the typical stresses of college life, it is easy to get caught up in the craziness of a new life and lose sight of what is important to you. Spartanburg UKirk is a breath of fresh air and a place to re-focus and re-center your life, no matter what your beliefs are.  Spartanburg UKirk is a family, and we would love for you to come join our loving and supporting community.

Cassidy Rindge - Converse College

Coming into college I had already heard so much about Ukirk. People often say to find that group of people who brings positive influence to your life during college and there is no doubt that Ukirk provides that. Having food, fun, friends and fellowship to look forward to every week is motivating and keeps me grounded as I go through college. I am so thankful for Ukirk and the connections I have made through it.

Rebecca McGregor - Wofford College

Ukirk is a safe and comfortable place to continue your faith journey while in college. So many changes occur during college that it is important to have a place where you can get away from school, have a good meal, visit with fellow college students, talk about the issues surrounding college life, worship God, and have open discussions about Scripture. Ukirk has been that place for me and I am so blessed to be a part of it.
Aubrie Lauderdale - Converse College

I remember the first time I learned about Spartanburg Ukirk. I went that first Tuesday night not knowing anyone and now I can't imagine my life without Ukirk. Often times I can't make it to Tuesday night dinner and worships but I know my Ukirk family is a phone call away if I ever need them for comfort, guidance, or just a cup of coffee. With our busy college lives Ukirk is the perfect outlet to step back for a couple hours each week and take your mind off work and focus it on more important things that our easy to forget. Friends, fellowship, food, games, laughter and God all make for a perfect Tuesday night.

Grace McGready - Converse

UKirk has been such a great environment to surround myself with. With its home-cooked food and fellowship, it's something for me to look forward to in an otherwise stressful week. Everyone is so welcoming and kind, and the group really focuses not only on faith, but on outside issues and how helping others can strengthen someone's relationship with Jesus.
